Windsurf open 2016

The windsurf open again suffered from lack of wind and rain. At 10am it was solid rain, and this meant many didn’t travel, but still 11 were ready to start soon after 11am. There was a little wind, then by the second race it was a drift in. So lunch was prolonged as we waited for the wind, but eventually it switched 180 degrees and stayed for the final two races. The breeze was sufficient for a good couple of races.

Guy Sprekley led on the water on his 9.5 sq m. winning three races. Russ Townes won the 7.5. Full results
