The Club celebrated the 30th year at Hoveringham in style, and even the weather behaved.
Earlier in the day there were preparations, photos to be put up, balloons, banners, sails and the surf shack.
For some the drinking started just a little before 6pm, and a barrel of Clarke’s Blonde was soon used up. Food from Midshires farm took place after a short speech from Ross Ryan the Commodore. It was great to see members and ex members from the last thirty years present.
After the Potholes played (along the Dan the Sax) and some other air guitar work from Guy & Ross, it was time for the raffle in aid of Air Ambulance which raised an amazing £617, well done Kathryn Hinsliff-Smith for organising it and doing most of the selling.
A few (well 131 wanted to try and get most people there on camera) photos below.
