The heatwave was broken with a roar as the wind gusted force 6 on Saturday 28th July. The windsurfers (including the Rear Commodore) were out in force, in spite of the gusts, and three lasers braved the start, two finishing a fairly extreme race.
On Sunday to was marginally lighter, with some interesting gusts which swung hard often dumping windsurfers and dinghy sailors in the water (to windward). Some near brooches on the 15s, and quite a few involuntary swims, but lots of smiles – especially Chloe!
