The annual snakebite team event, organised The Nottingham University Sailing Club saw 23 teams, nearly 140 people plus judges and helpers. Pauline was kept very busy.
The day started misty, with a slight breeze which completely disappeared about 30 minutes before the start, it was an hour or so before it settled and came back, and the sunshine came out. By the afternoon it was T shirt weather, in February, and the wind meant the course was bitterly just off the clubhouse, making some great spectating.
With the late start and promise of little wind on Sunday it was decided to go all out till the wind died at about 4.45pm and get as many races in as possible 84 in total.
Sunday was unfortunately foggy and calm and racing was called off after lunch.
Here are a few photos from Saturday along with a link to a video some from the drone showing some interesting racing.
