The Newark and Sherwood Chernobyl Children’s lifeline visited the club on Tuesday 30th July. There were 17 children with 11 from Belarus taking part along with interpreters and hosts.
It was a little windy when the children arrived and with the prospect of rain and stronger winds in the forecast it was decide to use the two cobbles and Stoke Ferry and Commodore, rotating the visitors so they sampled sailing and a tour round the lake.
There were plenty of volunteers helping out on safety, sailing and driving so the day went well. A few photos below.
