Enterprise fleet
The Enterprise fleet prides itself in welcoming new members into NCSC racing and social events making it one of the largest fleets in the club, with over 40 boats.
The social scene attracts people from all fleets with the Ent barn dance, family BBQ and fleet Christmas dinner being established as must attend functions throughout the year. Sunday racing offers close tactical sailing with an average of 10 boats in attendance across all ability ranges with less formal but equally contested racing on Thursday evening.
The Enterprise's simple design and omission of a spinnaker makes it an ideal boat for novice and children crews who want to get a couple of seasons racing before moving onto more complex boats, however, many find that the scene is far to good to leave and remain sailing Ents for many years. In fact many, many, many years for some of the fleet members!
Either way, once an Ent fleet member, always an Ent fleet member. If you require Enterprise advice or help then please contact Richard Johnston (Fleet Captain) on 07799 665543, Alasdair Coghill, John Riddell, Adam Bellamy or any other fleet member who will be more than happy to oblige.
