Powerboat
Club Safety Boat
Saturdays is March, please put your name on board or contact Will Stanton / John Riddel.
Club Powerboat Courses are held on saturdays in March. These are for any member who wants to drive a safety boat for a duty or at any time. Participants must be over 16. Note these are free to club members and we encourage you to take the course, especially parents.
RYA Level 1 & 2 (and Safety boat is available)

RYA Powerboat Level 1 and 2 This course covers the driving of powerboats, both planing and displacement. You learn to manoeuvre the craft at low and high speed. It is an essential requirement if you are considering volunteering to drive a safety boat at junior training or Saturday Club. Note: if it purely for club benifit and there is a history of helping on courses, and a comitment to conmtinue doing so the club will often subsidise these courses.
RYA Safetyboat a course that builds on the Level 1 and 2 and introduces the skills to provide safety and rescue cover.

First Aid
The club runs First Aid courses in generally on Saturday's in November, they are the RYA 1 day first aid course, all instructors have to take a refresher every three years, and we encourage any club member to join the course for a day.

Instructor courses
We often host instructor courses, or part courses, both dinghy and windsurfer, and there is an opportunity to be an Assistant Instructor at the club. Contact Glynn Myatt. Those that show commitment and wish to do an instructor course will often be helped by the club.
