Party August bank holiday Sunday

It is 60 years since we moved from County Hall as part of Notts County Council (Officers club) to the River Trent at Stoke Bardolph, where the club sailed till 1986 when we moved to our present lake.

It’s been a long year and sometime since we could have a social, and even now we are planning to be largely outdoors. As such we decided a picnic was a good option, no need for catering, and people can turn up if they wish. The bar will be open, and camping is available from Friday night to Monday night. The event itself is free, we should have a live band playing mainly 70s and 80s music, and there will be some sparkling wine and cake to celebrate.

It would be helpful to have numbers so there is enough cake and sparkling wine, rsvp to info@ncsc.org.uk but don’t worry if you can’t just come and enjoy our wonderful club and setting (but no guarantee of cake!!).
