The early August dinghy course saw 18 participants, with a number of families learning including 9 adults, and 9 youngsters. Along with a potential HANSA sailor.

The course saw some testing conditions especially Thursday, when the majority didn’t venture out, however the youth Stage 2 course insisted even though it was raining, there is enthusiasm. Every day saw some sunshine, gusts up to 24 mph, not ideal learning conditions, but the well reefed sails allowed he courses to proceed.

Thanks to all the volunteers, helpers on shore, safety drivers and crew, and especially the Instructors. It was great to see some youth instructors down as well.

The next course in 10 days is pretty well fully booked, or has waiting lists, however if there is. waiting list and we can find the volunteer instructors we may add numbers.
