Supported sailing sessions
This year Anne Clark and the Sailability team have been putting on supported sailing sessions, they started a few months ago and are gaining popularity, as ever volunteers are welcome to help, they are often mid afternoon before Tuesday sailing, below is a report from the early August session, and news on next one.
Supported Sailing Tuesday 6th August
These sessions designed, as it says on the can, to help anyone who will benefit from support to get out on the water.
On the 6th August 2 lads aged 9 and 10 went out in the HANSAs then the adult sailors took their turn. Another Club member joined the team taking a Coble out to maintain our and build their skills. It’s a Cornish Coble – the spelling is correct!
A busy but relaxed and cheerful session.
