Introduction
Notts County Sailing Club has been established since 1961. The Club caters for Dinghy sailing & windsurfing on a gravel pit with good clear winds and a superb clubhouse and facilities.

As an RYA Training Centre you can learn dinghy sailing, windsurfing, power boating and First Aid. The courses are run by enthusiastic volunteers, whose only goal is for you to enjoy our sport. For upcoming events for news please see links above or scroll to bottom of page.

The racing is competitive and well organised supplemented by after sailing chat at the bar.

The club is located east of Nottingham near Hoveringham about half  a mile off the A612.

During 2020 and 2021 we are operating under Covid restrictions so in line with Government guidance we are not encouraging ‘drop-in’ visits or none essential travel. This will change from Spring 2021 onwards when we will warmly welcome visitors to the Club.

As a volunteer club we do not have a manned office so please do contact the membership secretary by email membership@ncsc.org.uk who will be happy to arrange to either meet you or link you to members at the Club. Weekends are our busy times with many sailing activities and Clubs running when members are more likely to be around.

We operate a coded barrier entrance which at busy times our catering staff on site (only on a Thursday evening and Saturday and Sunday) and can provide the visitor code on

01636 830065. Alternatively you can park near the top track gate and walk down towards the Club house. Our track gates are locked when the Club is not in use so please avoid parking on the track.

Contact us through the website, or look at the Joining page with details of fees. for information on learning sailing see RYA training opportunities
