Facilities and access

The club is accessible with a ramp from the car park and has superb facilities, with a large clubhouse overlooking the lake, hot showers, catering, a bar and with a large balcony overlooking the water.The club is located near Hoveringham Directions

The water itself consists of two lakes. The large lake of is where the main activity takes place. This is open to the majority of wind directions, and the wind is generally clear and provides good conditions for racing and cruising. The second lake is a smaller ‘training’ lake is ideal for first steps, being about 20 acres, the shore is never far away, it is also used for open Water swimming.

The clubhouse (Sports Lottery & Sport England Inspired Facilities funded) comprises a large clubroom / eating area, a covered verandah, a balcony, mens, ladies changing and a disabled changing, a bar and a purpose built training and multi use room off the clubroom.

We have a large boat slipway (suitable for car launching) and two other slipways for dinghies, plus large areas of grass, ideal for rigging and shore based launching.

The clubroom can seat 50 and up to 70 with the conservatory, and is ideal for social events, or chilling out after sailing or racing.
