Notts County Sailing Club is located near Hoveringham, Nottinghamshire alongside the river Trent. Directions on how to find us can be found here.

The clubhouse, is located in an elevated position, on the western side of the large lake. It can be accessed from the car park via stairs and a ramp.

The superb clubhouse (Sports Lottery & Sport England Inspired Facilities funded) overlooks the lake, and offers: changing rooms, hot showers, galley, large eating area, bar, purpose built training and multi-use room, race office, conservatory and a large balcony for viewing racing and other on-water activities.

The water comprises two lakes. The large lake is where the main sailing activities take place. This is open to the majority of wind directions and offers clear wind and good conditions for racing and cruising. The second smaller ‘training’ lake is ideal for those taking to the water for the first time. It is about 20 acres in size and the shore is never far away. This lake is also used by Love Open Water for Open Water swimming.

There is a large boat slipway (suitable for car launching) and two other slipways for dinghies, plus large areas of grass, ideal for rigging and shore-based launching.

The clubroom can seat 50 although this can extend to 70 with the conservatory. It is ideal for social events and chilling out after sailing or racing.
